Philosophy of Masureel Rooted in the heart of Flanders fields, the history of the family Masureel dates back to the 16th century. We carry a large cultural heritage with us and take it as a reference for our company mission. Art, craftsmanship and respect for nature characterizes our creations. Our collections take inspiration from a rich archive of historical wallpapers and fabrics and a collection of modern & contemporary art.

Orbital

The texture captures the light, revealing rich color. Our passionate and talented team of designers enjoyed the challenge of using these three key elements to create a harmonious whole. The magic formula includes colors that evoke emotion, emphasize the importance of texture, and use light to highlight the resulting harmony. We have worked hard to produce the Orbital Collection, which actively embraces the combination of these three core elements.

Havana

You enjoy the feeling of the warm, tropical sun on your face as you wander the lively streets of Havana. The brightly colored facades and refreshing sea breeze are positively invigorating. Turn a corner and you come across a beautiful townhouse whose crumbling walls betray the residence's long history. You pass through a door beneath a balcony filled with exquisite purple flowers and enter an intimate living room shrouded in curling cigar smoke. Through an opening, you enter a lush veranda surrounded by an imposing arch. Under the lofty shade of palm trees, you feast on succulent mangoes, papayas and guavas to the sound of a distant Cuban tres guitar…

Spirit of Nature

"The Spirit of Nature" represents the search for a renewed connection with nature. The colors and designs in this collection reflect man's peace with nature. People have been using ingredients directly from nature for thousands of years. We have re-examined these natural raw materials to create our beautiful 'Spirit of Nature' designs. Instead of using pencils and brushes, we made patterns from sisal thread, shapes from marble, and embroideries with natural threads. This has resulted in a series of elegant patterns with a natural look and feel. Ropes made of natural fiber and exposed veins of mineral rock are recurring themes in the 'Spirit of Nature' collection.

Cabinet of Curiosities

With Cabinet of Curiosities, Masureel gave free rein to his natural imagination. With its prints that create unique combinations and arise from man's admiration for animals and nature, Khrôma offers a special bohemian line where dreaming is possible and even mandatory.

Kimono

Japanese culture is full of color and life, a fact reflected in the country's vibrant landscape and striking architecture. For centuries, nature has been the cornerstone of Japanese heritage. Cherry blossom season is a time of joy and celebration: the rebirth of Mother Nature. A beautiful but temporary phenomenon. It's the sheer unpredictability of the moment that makes it so fascinating... These natural elements, closely intertwined with Japanese culture, became the inspiration for our Kimono collection.

Agathe

Agathe is all about optimism and pops of color with a touch of the exotic. Inspiration? 1920s. Conclusion? An eclectic style that looks positively towards the future. Agathe is a combination of different styles and art movements. The discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb and the trends it brought were also reflected in art and design.
