THERMOWOOD
It is the process of thermal modification of wood with high temperature (185 ° C and 212 ° C) and water vapor (no chemicals are used). This process; Depending on some variables such as type, thickness and initial humidity of the wood, it is applied in specially built computer controlled facilities. The woods to be used in the Thermo wood process are classified according to their properties such as knot structure, fiber structure and moisture content, and materials with similar properties are treated at the same time. In principle, although each tree species can be modified, we generally apply thermal modification. Pine, Ash, Spruce and Iroko.
